L'Orpailleur, the story of a Quebec vineyard Located in the beautiful Dunham Valley, the Orpailleur vineyard was established in 1982 in one of the most welcoming and beautiful regions of Quebec. Having received his name from the poet Gilles Vigneault, the Orpailleur means Gold Researcher, in reference to the numerous gold-bearing rivers of the Eastern Townships. The vines of this vineyard have been judiciously chosen for their precocity, their resistance to diseases and their organoleptic qualities.
