The Old Hatchery Winery is located in Bozeman, MT. The building housing the winery was built in 1895. Located in a gulch under the “M” at the mouth of Bridger Canyon, this historic buidling served as the U.S. Fish Hatchery for over 70 years. The Hatchery produced eggs and fish for fishery programs throughout Montana and the West, supplying rainbow, brook, brown and cutthroat trout as well as grayling. Built on four-by-four beams the building has survived over 115 of Bozeman's winters and now serves as the The Old Hatchery Winery, one of Gallatin Valley’s oldest landmarks.
